Salary: From £32,000p/a DOE
Are you an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial awareness and a passion for delivering results? We're looking for a Buyer to join our Clients team based in Norfolk.
As a key part of the Procurement Team, you'll play a crucial role in sourcing and purchasing the goods and services that keep operations running smoothly. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely availability of stock and services.
What You'll Do:

Source and negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers to secure the best price and service levels.
Manage key supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability in line with operational deadlines.
Oversee contracts to maintain robust supply agreements, focusing on quality and specifications.
Complete and maintain purchase orders and internal system records to support stock control, reporting, and audits.
Liaise with internal departments to align procurement activities with company objectives.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in procurement within a fast-paced environment.
Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
A team player who is also comfortable working independently, with a resilient and tenacious approach.
Degree or NVQ Level 5 in business or technical/engineering subjects.
CIPS qualification (or working towards it).
